Blood Transfusion Set
The needle used for transfusion must be larger than size 7. Otherwise, the needle size may be too small to be used for transfusion. The dosing port on the transfusion device should not be used for dosing or adding other blood products when a transfusion has already been made. The dosing should only be used for the infusion of normal saline when an intravenous channel is established prior to transfusion. Y-type blood transfusion device can avoid repeated changes in blood, normal saline affecting the work of medical staff.

Check whether the package of the transfusion device is intact, whether it is within the validity period, whether the needle type is appropriate, etc. After the check, open the package, insert the bottle insert needle into the physiological salt bottle, exhaust gas, perform venipathesis according to the method of intravenous infusion, input a small amount of normal saline, check the information on the blood bag and whether the blood is bad, open the cap of the blood transfusion bag and disinfect it. Hang the infusion rack, insert the blood transfusion device into the blood bag to conduct blood transfusion and adjust the blood transfusion speed. After the blood transfusion is finished, connect the normal saline again, and pull the needle or inject a bag of blood products as above after the infusion is smooth.

After blood transfusion, close the side of the pipeline leading to the blood bag and open the side of the pipeline leading to normal saline, flush the blood, turn off the flow regulator and pull out the needle or continue to input the next bag of blood products as above.
